Objective
Caribbean Poker is a five card stud poker game.
The player (you) plays against the dealer. Your goal is to try
and beat the dealer's hand. The exciting part about this game
is that it's still possible to beat the dealer with a low hand
and there are different odds payouts for specific hands.
Rules
To begin the game, place your wager on the "ante".
You are then dealt five cards face down. The dealer also gets
five cards; four are face down, the fifth card is face up. After
viewing your hand, you have two options. You can play out the
hand that you were dealt, or you can fold and give up your "ante"
bet. Should you decide to play out your hand, you have to place
another wager, the "bet", double the amount of the initial "ante".
After you have made your decision, the dealer reveals his remaining
four cards.
The dealer must have at least an ACE/KING in his
hand to "qualify" in order to play the hand out. If the dealer
does not have such a hand, you get paid on your "ante" but not
your "bet". If the dealer happens to qualify with an ACE/KING
or better and your hand is higher than the dealer's then you get
paid the "ante" wager as well as the "bet" wager. The "ante" is
paid even money. The "bet" is paid out according to the type of
hand. If the dealer has a higher hand, you lose both bets. Equal
hands results in a tie.

How to Play
1. Set your bet amount ("In Hand" value) by clicking
the appropriate chips in your chip tray. To lower your bet amount,
shift+click or right click the appropriate chips in your chip
tray. The default bet is 1 unit, the minimum is 1 unit, and the
maximum is 100 units.
2. Once you have set your bet amount, click the "ante" space on
the poker table. The appropriate chips will appear on the table.
To remove your bet, shift+click or right click the ante chips
on the table. The chips will disappear from the table. The default
and minimum total "ante" amount for the table is 1 unit and the
maximum is 100 units. Your "ante" can not exceed one third of
your balance since double your "ante" is needed to place a bet.
You must have a minimum balance of 3 units to play (1 unit for
the "ante" and 2 units for the "bet").
3. Click the Deal button. You will be dealt five cards face up.
The dealer will be dealt four cards face down, with the fifth
face up.
4. Based on your hand and the dealer's up card, decide to "bet"
- two times your "ante", or surrender - "fold".
5. If you click the "Bet" button, the "ante" will remain on the
table and a "bet" equal to two times the "ante" will be displayed
as chips on the bet space on the table. The dealer's hand is revealed.
The dealer must have either an ACE/KING combination or one of
the poker hands listed in the payout table to qualify.
If the dealer does not qualify ("DNQ" in red appears
by the dealer's hand), you win 1 to 1 odds on the "ante" wager
and the "bet" value is returned. You lose if the dealer qualifies
with a higher hand. If you and the dealer have equal hands, your
money is returned. If the dealer's hand qualifies but is lower
than your hand you win, you are paid 1 to 1 odds on the "ante"
wager and the "bet" value wins at the odds shown on the pay table..
6. If you click the Fold button, the dealer's hand is revealed
and you lose your "ante".
7. The result of the hand will be visible in the user information
panel. Any winnings are added to your balance and chip tray, any
losses are subtracted from your balance. There are no progressive
jackpots.
8. To play another hand, click the ante space on the poker table.
To exit Caribbean Poker, select the Close button in the upper
right-hand corner of the window or choose Exit Game from the Casino
menu.
Betting
The minimum wager is 1 unit per hand and maximum
that can be played on the table is 100 units on the initial "ante".
